Attorneys
Anne Montgomery is a Northwest native who came to Kitsap County in 1992. She graduated from the University of Washington in 1989 with a BA in Political Science, and attended law school at the University of Puget Sound, now Seattle University, graduating in 1993. During law school, she spent time in Paris studying international business law through Tulane University, and worked in Nuremberg, Germany with the United States Army Judge Advocate General's Corps. Anne Montgomery first came to Ryan Sells Uptegraft, Inc., as an intern in 1992. She continued at the firm as an associate after law school, and in 1997 became a partner of the firm. Her practice emphasizes probate and estates, municipal corporations, employment law, and equine law. Anne was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 1994, and is admitted to practice in all Washington courts, as well as the Federal District Court. She is a board member of the Kitsap Volunteer Attorney Service, a board member of the Bremerton YWCA, and President of the Lower Puget Sound Dressage Club. In her spare time, Anne is usually riding her horses, training for the dressage competition season.
